New York, NY - In celebration of the 10th anniversary of her debut on the music scene, Jive Records is releasing Britney Spears The Singles Collection on November 24. To launch the special package a brand new single entitled "3," which Britney recently recorded with hitmaker Max Martin, will go to radio Tuesday, September 29.

There will be two configurations of The Singles Collection; an ultimate fan box set and a standard version.

The ultimate fan box set version of The Singles Collection will contain all 29 of her singles, including the new song "3." Each disc will be packaged in its own slip sleeve case with original artwork, and will include an additional b-side or a remix of the track. The collection will include a DVD featuring all of Britney's videos in chronological order. The ultimate fan box set will also include a special booklet featuring iconic images and fun facts about each track.

The standard version of The Singles Collection will contain 17 of her chart topping favorites along with the new song "3," all on one CD.

During her 10 year career, Britney has had 5 albums debut at the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 100 Album Chart, as well as 23 Top 40 hits on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart. Worldwide, Britney Spears is one of the top-selling artists of the last decade, constantly topping charts with her albums ...Baby One More Time (1999); Oops!... I Did It Again (2000); Britney (2001); In The Zone (2003); Blackout (2007) and Circus (2008). Worldwide she has sold over 63 million albums.

Britney Spears is currently touring in support of her most recent studio album Circus. "The Circus Starring Britney Spears" tour which started in her home state of Louisiana in March 2009.

Today was a whirlwind day in the category of Announcing the MTV VMA 2009 Nominees. The nominees are IN, the names are OUT, and this year there are some new categories, such as Best Video That Should've Won A Moonman (I mean Beastie Boys' "Sabotage"? Duh.) Also new this year is the VMA Best Legs Category!

... Okay, or not. That'd be basically sexist. But with the number of barely-there ensembles -- in Mariah's parlance -- we pretty much COULD make Best Legs its own award category, and I'm fairly confident Katy Perry would win after she showed just about EVERY. INCH. OF. LEG. GOD. GAVE. HER on the red carpet at the 2008 VMAs. And yes, I basically Stan for Katy Perry. Though in fairness, Beyonce did hot pants too at the 2004 VMAs. Katy just did it a little better. You also maybe didn't notice because Beyonce was apparently wearing a Miss Piggy wig and was dressed like a cross between Tina Turner and an Emmy.

And I bet you didn't even notice Britney was WEARING pants at the 2002 VMAs, where she arrived rollin' deep in dominatrix gear. (Also, she was not wearing pants.)

Conservatorship • All Good Things Must End

Britney Spears' daddy is ready to release his daughter into the wild again -- we've learned the conservatorship may be coming to an end.

Sources tell us Jamie Spears will ask the court to review the terms of the conservatorship after her concert tour ends in November. Jamie can't ask the judge to end it -- just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life.

We're told Jamie thinks Britney is ready to roll on her own. He has made her life his full time job since February, 2008.

Fact is ... if it weren't for the tour, given Britney's progress, the judge might already have made the decision to undo the conservatorship. The various vendors were promised under their contracts that the conservatorship would stay in tact throughout the tour.

A little editorial comment ... it may be the most remarkable turnaround we've ever seen. A year and a half ago, people were worried for Britney's life.

POLISH PROMOTER CANCELS WARSAW PERFORMANCE OF THE CIRCUS STARRING BRITNEY SPEARS

Los Angeles, CA - The Circus Starring Britney Spears will not be touring Warsaw, Poland during the 63-city world tour. To Britney's great dismay, the performance scheduled to take place in Warsaw, Poland on Friday, July 24th has been canceled by the Polish promoter due to a contractual dispute that was unable to be resolved. Britney regrets that she will not be visiting Poland's capital during her world tour. She apologizes to all her loyal fans for the cancellation and hopes to visit the culturally exciting city of Warsaw in the near future.

"The Circus Starring Britney Spears" kicked-off in New Orleans, LA on March 3, "The pop star...pulled out all the stops before a sell-out crowd of 16,400 to launch her much anticipated world tour," stated Reuters. To date, the Circus is the highest grossing tour of 2009 in North America.

Britney Spears is one of the top-selling artists of the last decade, and to date she has sold in excess of 63 million albums worldwide: ...Baby One More Time (1999); Oops!... I Did It Again (2000); Britney (2001); In The Zone (2003) and Blackout (2007). Her current album Circus released on her birthday, December 2, 2008, debuted No. 1 in six countries including Canada, Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and Top 10 in an additional seven countries.

Spears' camp demands photographers at the show sign a contract that
gives them the copyright to the pictures, allowing the option to sell
the photos as well as choose what ones are published.

"'If we don’t sign the contract we are not allowed to take photos,' says Dagens Nyheters’ head of photography, Roger Turesson (DN is the biggest newspaper in Sweden)."

According to the source, the contract vendors must sign is "very detailed."

- "No pictures from the concert can be published after 30 days.
- No pictures can be sold forward, that pictures that the organizer sees as offensive to the artist can not be published.
- And that Spears gets the ownership to the pictures that they like."

"The
demands from concert organizers grow all the time. Before we agreed not
to sell the pictures forward to posters and the like but this we cannot
accept, Turesson says."

Two large tabloids in Stockholm, Expressen and Aftonbladet, are boycotting coverage of the concert as well.

"Picture agencies are not overall welcome to the concert as they would sell the pictures forward."

"Overall
we should boycott the concert as a whole, and not write about the
concert at all. That’s what they did in Germany and the contract was
quickly waived, said Mans Brunius of picture agency Scanpix."

"It
has happened before that the organizer has waived the contract in
Sweden. It is possible that there is a solution but it depends on them,
says Roger Turesson."

AEG Live, Britney's concert organizer,
claim they only forward the contract given from Britney's management,
as "they own the right."

"I think it’s just as sad every time
that I have to send out one of these contracts. I’m doing everything I
can to get rid of them, says Louise Vanerell, the publicist for AEG
Live."

According to gimmebritney.com which is affiliated with Sony BMG in Australia.. they were the first to confirm Radar as 4th single as well as the Australian tour dates.

GimmeBritney.com can exclusively reveal that Britney is planning to release her second Greatest Hits album this year.

The album will feature tracks from Blackout and Circus, plus another 6 new tracks which Britney is said to be in the process of recording. We already know that she’s currently in the studio with Max Martin – the guy behind Baby One More Time and If U Seek Amy.

Our sources tell us that the album is due for release in September to coincide with the 2nd North American leg of her current Circus tour.

Australian Songwriting Twins Write for Britney

AUSTRALIAN songwriting twins Olivia and Miriam Nervo have been asked to develop new material for re-energised – but still whacky – pop star Britney Spears.

A song the talented two penned for David Guetta and former Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland topped the British charts last month.

Following the success of the catchy track When Love Takes Over, the former models were contacted last week by team Spears and asked to write some new songs for her.

It is not the first time Spears has shown an interest in the Nervos – but the track she liked two years ago didn’t make her album.

ET is with Britney Spears in Paris as she brings her incredible "Circus" tour to the City of Lights! Read on to see what's new with the show, and where she'll be touring next!

"I'm very excited to be in Paris. It's one of the most beautiful places I've been to so far," Britney tells ET. The pop star just wrapped up a number of shows in the U.K. and next moves on to such exotic locales as Russia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and Germany.

Touring with the same exact routine day after day can get tiresome, so Britney's incorporated some new material into the "Circus," repertoire.

"We have a song called 'Mannequin' that we're adding to the show, which I'm really, really excited about, so it should be interesting," she reveals. "We have to update [the show] or it gets really boring."

Britney brings the "Circus" back to North America in just a few weeks, and she says, "We've changed up a couple of numbers in the show, so that's going to make it a lot more fun for me and the dancers. It'll be cool."

Representatives for Britney Spears have hit back at criticisms of the superstar’s seemingly airbrushed ad campaign for Candie’s by releasing an original “untouched” snap.

Fans were stunned by the Barbie-style photo shoot for the clothing company’s latest collection, which shows the Toxic hitmaker looking impossibly perfect and coiffed.

Internet gossip Perez Hilton lashed out at the images, insisting the photos were “practically paintings.”

Parents were also outraged by the polished pictures, claiming the advertisements gave teens an unrealistic goal to aspire to.

But a representative for Spears has tried to quash rumors the pictures were completely overhauled, by sending out a very similar snap to Hilton’s Web site insisting Spears looked almost identical pre-airbrushing.

The re-touched version shows the only differences in the two images are that the singer’s tan has been deepened and her dark roots have been lightened.

A rep for Britney Spears has told us that the pop star's new Candie's campaign is not as heavily Photoshopped as we previously speculated.

To prove the point, an exclusive image of the singer was released to PerezHilton.com (top pic).

We're told the picture is "raw" and unretouched.

Hmmm….inneresting.

If you compare the two photos (untouched above, retouched below), we're pretty sure you can spot at least a couple differences.
